Perpetual futures (perps) have revolutionized the cryptocurrency landscape, evolving into a multi-trillion-dollar industry that drives market dynamics and forms a crucial part of our financial infrastructure. As decentralized finance (DeFi) matures, significant volume and price discovery are increasingly occurring within this ecosystem. With advancements in blockchain technology, such as those offered by Base, we are witnessing the emergence of a robust DeFi environment where perp products can thrive and compete with centralized exchanges.
BSX is positioned as a transparent and secure alternative to centralized financial systems. Our platform has already facilitated substantial trading volumes and served a growing user base. Building on this foundation, we are pioneering the high-performance perp DEX and derivatives trading ecosystem on the Base blockchain, aiming to match centralized exchanges' performance without compromising security and transparency.
The $BSX token is the cornerstone of our ecosystem, driving the growth of the fastest, smoothest, and most secure perps DEX on Base. Through staking mechanisms, users can stake $BSX to unlock governance rights and additional incentives. Our tokenomics and utility are strategically designed to align the interests of all stakeholders with the protocol’s overarching goals. This alignment not only empowers but also incentivizes our community to actively participate in guiding the protocol’s direction as we strive to deliver the ultimate trading experience.

Initial Circulating Supply: 178,330,000
The largest portion of the $BSX token supply (51.7%) is reserved for our community:
10% is distributed via airdrop.
21.2% is reserved for platform incentives, dedicated to traders.
20.5% forms the Community Treasury, funding initiatives including BSX’s multi-year protocol development, liquidity reserves, and creator & ambassador programs.
The remaining of $BSX token supply is set aside for contributors, partners, and investors, subject to a multi-year unlock and vesting schedule.
At TGE and in the following weeks, the following unlocks will take place:
Airdrop: 10% of the supply will be airdropped to traders at TGE, based on BSX points. Users will have the option to stake BSX tokens at TGE for a significant APR bonus. BSX traders who own Lilquid NFTs, or highly ranked on BSX Arena are included and qualified for the 10% initial airdrop.
Incentives: Immediately after the airdrop snapshot, platform incentives for traders (21.7% over 60 months) will begin with the Genesis Epoch.
Treasury: Simultaneously, a portion of the community treasury and protocol development funds will be released to support multi-year growth initiatives, including liquidity provisioning and creator and ambassador programs.
Core protocol contributors and strategic participants will have extended lock-up periods.
Strategic Participants: Subject to a 1-year cliff followed by 24 months of linear vesting.
Contributors: Subject to a 1-year cliff followed by 24 months of linear vesting.
This structure ensures that both contributors and investors are aligned with the long-term success of BSX.
Staking: Staking will be a key function of the token from launch. Users will be able to stake $BSX for up to 5 years, unlocking governance rights and additional incentives.
Governance: $BSX governs the BSX protocol and pioneers vote escrow tokenomics on Base. Over time, it will empower community members to propose, discuss, and vote on the future developments of the protocol.
Incentives: A substantial portion of the $BSX token’s supply is set aside as a reward mechanism for traders to incentivize liquidity and trading activity.
